CloudCusp Mailer v1.1.8 Release: New CRM Digest & Companies Module (July 2026)

Hey everyone,

On July 19, 2026, we shipped version 1.1.8 of CloudCusp Mailer, and it feels like one of those releases where everything just clicked. We didn’t just tweak a few buttons — we added entirely new ways to understand your audience and manage relationships at scale, while making the day-to-day stuff noticeably smoother and more reliable.

If you’ve been using CloudCusp Mailer for a while, you know we listen hard to what you’re actually struggling with. This release is packed with features that came straight from your feedback: better visibility into campaign performance, cleaner data handling, stronger company-level insights, and a bunch of little frustrations that have finally been put to bed. Whether you’re running high-volume email sequences, managing a growing CRM, or just trying to keep your lists healthy, there’s something here that’ll make your life easier.

Let’s dive in.

Introducing CRM Digest: Your New Daily and Weekly Pulse Check

One of the biggest additions in v1.1.8 is the CRM Digest — configurable daily and weekly email summaries that pull together the most important signals from your subscribers, campaigns, and overall engagement.

I’ve heard from so many of you that staying on top of performance across multiple campaigns can feel overwhelming. You log in, open dashboards, click around, and sometimes still miss the forest for the trees. CRM Digest changes that. It delivers a clean, scannable email right to your inbox with key metrics: open rates trending up or down, top-performing sequences, subscriber growth or churn highlights, and engagement insights that actually mean something.

You can set it up in minutes. Go to your account settings, find the Digest section, and choose daily or weekly (or both). Want more detail on specific campaigns? You can configure filters. Prefer a high-level overview on Mondays and deeper dives on Fridays? Totally doable.

From early testing with beta users, people are already saying it saves them 30-45 minutes every week of manual checking. One marketing manager told us it finally lets her focus on strategy instead of hunting for numbers. It’s not replacing your full analytics dashboard — it’s the smart summary that helps you decide where to dig deeper.

The New Companies Module: Finally Treating Companies Like the Relationships They Are

This one has been in the works for a while, and I’m thrilled we could ship it now in v1.1.8.

We’ve added a full Companies module. You can now create detailed company profiles, associate contacts to them, track company-level insights, and manage relationships in a more structured way.

Think about it: many of you sell to businesses, not just individuals. Before this, contacts were floating around without strong ties to the organizations they belong to. Now you can:

  • Build rich company profiles with industry, size, location, key decision-makers, and custom fields.
  • Link multiple contacts to the same company and see aggregated engagement data.
  • Get company-level insights — like total opens, clicks, or responses coming from that organization.
  • Use relationship management tools to track stages, notes, and next actions at the company level.

This is huge for account-based marketing (ABM) users and sales teams. Bulk imports now properly handle company assignments, and synchronization between contacts and companies is much more robust.

I love how this makes CloudCusp feel less like a simple email tool and more like a true lightweight CRM that actually understands B2B workflows.

List Verification Engine: Faster, Smarter, and Way More Accurate

Clean data is the foundation of good email marketing, and we’ve given the list verification engine a serious upgrade in v1.1.8.

The new version is noticeably faster — many users are seeing validation times cut in half. We’ve added better duplicate detection that catches subtle variations (not just exact matches), stronger disposable email filtering, and overall improved processing accuracy.

If you’ve ever imported a list and then watched your bounce rate spike, you’ll appreciate this. The engine now flags potential issues more intelligently and gives you clearer reports on what was cleaned and why. You can still review everything before committing changes, but the whole process feels less like guesswork.

This improvement pairs beautifully with the new Companies module because clean contact data makes company associations more reliable too.

Email Templates: Import, Export, and Asset Handling Done Right

Template management has always been important, but the old import/export process had some rough edges — especially with older or complex templates.

In v1.1.8 we completely redesigned it. Compatibility is much better across different template formats, metadata (like custom tags and settings) is preserved more reliably, and asset handling (images, logos, etc.) is way more dependable.

You can now export a template with confidence that it’ll import cleanly into another account or workspace. Legacy templates that used to cause failures are now handled gracefully. This might seem like a small thing, but if you manage multiple brands or work with agencies, it’ll save you hours of rework.

Sequence Campaign Analytics: Going Deeper Than Ever

For those running automated sequences, the analytics just got a major glow-up in this release.

We’ve expanded reporting to include detailed step-level performance. You can now see exactly how each email in your sequence is performing — opens, clicks, replies, conversions — and track drop-off points more clearly. Conversion tracking is tighter, and engagement reporting gives you better context around what’s working.

This level of granularity makes optimization so much more intuitive. Instead of guessing which step needs tweaking, you have the data staring you in the face.

Campaign Reporting Performance: Faster Dashboards for Bigger Datasets

We also optimized the backend for campaign reporting. Dashboards load faster, especially when you’re dealing with large datasets or long-running campaigns. The difference is noticeable — no more waiting around while charts render or filters apply.

This might not be the sexiest feature, but it’s one of those quality-of-life improvements that makes the whole platform feel more professional and responsive.

Bug Fixes and Polish: The Stuff That Matters

No release is complete without cleaning up the little things that annoy people:

  • Fixed an issue where sequence campaigns would sometimes show incorrect completion statistics after retries.
  • Resolved email template import failures caused by unsupported legacy formats.
  • Fixed company assignment problems during bulk contact imports and synchronization — this ties directly into the new Companies module working smoothly.
  • Squashed several UI inconsistencies across CRM management pages, reports, and especially dark mode. The interface just feels more cohesive now.

We also did a bunch of behind-the-scenes work on stability and edge cases that most people won’t notice, but you’ll feel in the form of fewer weird errors.

Why This Release Matters

Looking at v1.1.8 as a whole, it’s clear we’re pushing CloudCusp toward being more than just a mailer. With the Companies module and CRM Digest, we’re giving you better tools to build and nurture real business relationships. The improvements to verification, templates, analytics, and performance make the core experience more reliable and enjoyable.

If you’re just getting started with CloudCusp, this is a great time to jump in. If you’ve been with us for months, you’ll immediately notice the difference in speed, clarity, and capability.

How to Get the Update
